✨ Before you pack
Keep them hydrated: Store your flowers in a cool place in a vase with fresh water until the moment you are ready to pack them.
Trim the stems: Cut 1/2” off the bottom of the stems at a diagonal and pat them dry. Do not cut the stems short; keep them as long as possible.
Remove Valuables: Remove any ribbons, charms, or heirlooms you do not want included in the resin.

✨ Shipping:
Use Paper Only: Loosely wrap the entire bouquet in dry tissue paper or brown packing paper.
DO NOT use plastic wrap, bubble wrap, or wet paper towels. Wrapping flowers in plastic traps moisture and will cause your bouquet to mold before it even reaches me.
Inside the Box: Include a note with the Full Name used for the order, your Order Number, and your Email.
Timing: Ship your flowers within 24–48 hours of your event.
Speed: Overnight Shipping Next Day Air or two day is required for the best results.
Carrier: We recommend using UPS or FedEx.

We do not recommend shipping on Friday or Saturday. If a package is delayed with UPS, it may not arrive for an additional day since it would not be scheduled for a Saturday delivery and they are closed Sunday. Packages may be sitting in a trailer that is 100 degrees.

Signature: Please DO NOT require a signature for delivery, as this can cause delays if I am not at the studio at the exact moment of delivery.

✨Caring for Your Bouquet Before Preservation

The condition of your bouquet when it arrives plays a major role in the final preservation results. Fresh flowers begin changing as soon as they are removed from water, so taking a few simple steps can help ensure the best possible outcome.

Immediately After the Ceremony
Place your bouquet back into fresh water as soon as possible after photos and the ceremony are complete.
Avoid leaving flowers out of water for extended periods, especially during receptions, outdoor events, or travel.
Keep stems submerged in clean water whenever the bouquet is not being used.

Bouquet Toss Tip

Many brides choose to order a second bouquet specifically for the bouquet toss or use a bridesmaid's bouquet instead. This helps protect your bridal bouquet from damage and ensures it remains in the best condition possible for preservation.

Protect Your Flowers from Heat
Store your bouquet in a cool, air-conditioned environment.
Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, hot vehicles, heaters, and warm reception areas.
Do not leave your bouquet in a car, even for a short period, as heat can quickly cause wilting and discoloration.

Before Shipping
Continue keeping your bouquet in water until it is time to pack it for shipment.
Ship your flowers as soon as possible after your event. The fresher the flowers are upon arrival, the better the preservation results will be.
If your wedding falls on a weekend, contact me for shipping instructions to ensure your flowers do not sit in transit unnecessarily.

Floral preservation begins with the condition of the flowers received. While every bouquet is carefully preserved, flowers that arrive wilted, browned, bruised, or heat-damaged may experience additional color changes or petal loss during the preservation process. The fresher your flowers are when they arrive, the more closely they will resemble their original appearance.

✨Important Information About Resin Clarity & Display

Please note that most resin block designs are created to be displayed from the front. The front-facing view is the intended display angle and provides the best clarity and visual depth.

Viewing your piece from the sides or edges is not the intended display orientation. Because these keepsakes can contain up to 2–4 inches or more of solid resin epoxy, the side view may not appear as crystal clear as the front. Resin is not glass and naturally becomes less translucent as thickness increases.

Each preservation piece is handcrafted by pouring multiple thin layers of resin over time. As a result, subtle layer or pour lines may be visible when viewed from certain angles. These are a normal characteristic of the resin casting process and are not considered defects.

Every flower preservation piece is handmade and one of a kind. Small variations and natural characteristics of resin are part of what makes each keepsake unique while preserving your flowers for years to come.

✨ Important Notes:

Flower Preservation Information
How Flowers Naturally Preserve
Every flower is unique and will dry differently during the preservation process. While I take great care to preserve the beauty of your bouquet, preserved flowers will never look exactly like fresh flowers.
• Bright colors such as yellow, pink, and blue typically remain the most vibrant.
• Sturdy flowers like roses, carnations, hydrangeas, and many types of greenery generally preserve best.
• Red and purple flowers often deepen into rich burgundy or darker tones.
• White flowers commonly dry to ivory, cream, or off-white shades.
• Delicate flowers such as tulips, lilies, and orchids may become more translucent and may require color correction.
• Some pink flowers may dry either lighter or darker than their original color.
• If flowers were bruised, wilted, or damaged before preservation, translucent areas may appear in the finished piece.
• Flowers may experience additional wilting or bruising during shipping. I always select the best blooms available from your bouquet.
• Succulents cannot be successfully dried and preserved. Faux greenery or foliage can be substituted.

Important Information About Your Preservation
Please understand that flower preservation is both an art and a natural process. Variations in color, texture, and appearance are expected and make each piece truly one of a kind.
• Preserved flowers will not look identical to fresh flowers.
• White flowers naturally tend to brown, ivory, or cream during the drying process.
• If greenery dries brown or unattractively, it may be omitted or replaced for aesthetic reasons.
• Natural petal bruising may appear as translucent spots within the resin.
• Every preservation piece is individually handmade and completely unique.

Handmade Resin Characteristics
Each resin piece is handcrafted, and minor variations are considered normal.
Possible characteristics include:
• Small bubbles or dimples
• Slight texture variations
• Minor surface imperfections
• Rustic variations in hand-applied gold or silver leaf edging
These characteristics are a normal part of the handmade process and do not affect the integrity or beauty of your preservation.

Care Instructions
To keep your floral preservation looking its best:
• Display indoors away from direct sunlight.
• Avoid extreme heat and temperature fluctuations.
• Keep away from sharp objects that could scratch the resin surface.
• Clean gently using warm water and a soft microfiber cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
Resin Aging
All epoxy resin naturally develops a slight amber tint over time. High-quality UV-resistant resin helps slow this process, but it cannot be completely prevented. Keeping your piece out of direct sunlight will help preserve its clarity and color for many years.

By Purchasing
By purchasing a flower preservation piece, you acknowledge and understand that:
• Flowers will naturally change color during the preservation process.
• Preserved flowers will not appear exactly as they did when fresh.
• Some translucency, bruising, color shifts, and natural imperfections may occur.
• Handmade resin pieces may contain minor bubbles or texture variations.
• Resin naturally yellows over time despite UV protection.
• These natural characteristics are not considered defects and are part of creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
