Send Us Your Flowers
How your flowers arrive determines how they will look in resin.
Shipping: We require Next Day Air Shipping to ensure freshness.
Local Pickup: If you are in the Milwaukee, WI area, pickup is available. We will come to you to retrieve your flowers.
Professional Drying & Preservation
As soon as your flowers arrive, they are checked in and placed into our specialized drying environment. This stage takes roughly 2–4 weeks to ensure all moisture is removed, preventing rot and ensuring the longevity of your piece.
Design & Layout Approval
Once your flowers are dry, the artistry begins.
-
We will reach out with a photo of your design layout for approval.
-
You will have the opportunity to request adjustments before we move to the casting stage.
-
Please monitor your email closely during this time!
The Pour & Cure
After design approval, your flowers are cast in multiple layers of high-quality resin. This is a slow, meticulous process to minimize bubbles and heat damage to the petals. Once fully cured, each piece is polished and finished by hand.
Packaged and shipped
Once all of your items are complete they will be carefully packaged and shipped to you.
Flower Shipping & Packing Instructions
To ensure your bouquet arrives in the best possible condition, please follow these steps exactly.
Freshness is the most important factor for a beautiful resin piece!
BEFORE YOU PACK
Keep them hydrated: Store your flowers in a cool place in a vase with fresh water until the moment you are ready to pack them.
Trim the stems: Cut 1/2” off the bottom of the stems at a diagonal and pat them dry. Do not cut the stems short; keep them as long as possible.
Remove Valuables: Remove any ribbons, charms, or heirlooms you do not want included in the resin.
STEP 1: Wrapping the Flowers
Use Paper Only: Loosely wrap the entire bouquet in dry tissue paper or brown packing paper.
DO NOT use plastic wrap, bubble wrap, or wet paper towels. Wrapping flowers in plastic traps moisture and will cause your bouquet to mold before it even reaches me.
STEP 2: THE BOX
-
Cushion the Bottom: Line the bottom of a sturdy shipping box with crumpled packing paper or tissue paper.
-
Positioning: Place your paper-wrapped bouquet in the center of the box.
-
Secure the Gaps: Fill the remaining space around and on top of the bouquet with more crumpled paper. The goal is to make sure the bouquet cannot shift if the box is turned upside down.
STEP 3: LABELING
Inside the Box: Include a note with the Full Name used for the order, your Order Number, and your Email.
Outside the Box: Seal well with packing tape.
STEP 4: SHIPPING
Timing: Ship your flowers within 24–48 hours of your event.
Speed: Overnight Shipping (Next Day Air) is required for the best results.
Carrier: We recommend using UPS or FedEx.
Signature: Please DO NOT require a signature for delivery, as this can cause delays if I am not at the studio at the exact moment of delivery.
Frequently Asked Questions
How will my flowers change during the drying process?
Nature is unpredictable! While we use professional-grade techniques, flowers are organic and will shift:
-
Whites: Shift to ivory, cream, or light tan.
-
Reds & Purples: Deepen into rich burgundy or wine tones.
-
Yellows & Pinks: These usually stay the most vibrant, though shades may vary.
-
Delicate Blooms: Flowers like tulips or lilies may become slightly translucent; we may use color correction to help maintain their appearance
What about succulents?
Because succulents are full of water, they cannot be dried and will rot in resin. We are happy to substitute them with high-quality faux greenery to maintain your bouquet’s original look.
What if my flowers arrive damaged?
We work with the flowers in the condition they arrive. If they are moldy or severely bruised upon receipt, we will notify you immediately. We do offer a Bouquet Re-creation Service for an additional fee if you would like us to source fresh replacement blooms.
What if my flowers are already dry?
We are able to work with dried flowers of any age.
Will my resin piece stay clear forever?
All resin naturally “ambers” or yellows slightly over time due to UV exposure. To slow this process:
-
Keep your piece out of direct sunlight.
-
Avoid placing it near high-heat sources.
-
Clean only with a soft microfiber cloth and warm water.
How long does the whole process take?
From the time we receive your flowers to the day they ship home, the process typically takes 4–6 months. Quality preservation cannot be rushed!
